"the magical art of writing is a grueling process"

Ay, isn't that the truth?!

Glad you had a chance to escape the writing process to enjoy a few books this summer. I hope it let you relax, unwind, and absorb so that you have a productive fall. Considering you wrote 6 short stories earlier this year in a relatively short period of time, I have no doubt you could do it again!

Thank you for the lovely interpretation of this passage. I have returned to re-read it several times. The wording of the second paragraph appeals greatly to me. "Natural strengths" --- What are mine? I'm not sure I've ever asked myself that question before. "Retreating into silence" has a delicious resonance to it... a velvet coolness. "Calm energy replacing frustrations" inspires a long deep sigh.

I really appreciate hearing you talk about goddesses Madhu. The goddesses Tara, Lakshmi, Sarasvati, and Kali have all entered my life in the past few years and I have been trying to understand their message and meaning to me. As I journey through with each one trying to understand their characteristics and in turn those aspects of myself, I am awakened more deeply to what feels may be the true essence of the the power of the feminine. I have grown in so many ways due to my encounters with these goddesses. As you say, just viewing the images can have profound impact on one's consciousness. Thank you for sharing your journey.

I am a relatively new reader of your site -- at least on a regular basis. I look forward to your interpretation of these passages and perhaps am at a time in my life where I can appreciate what you are trying to convey and the tools you've provided here even more.

"This is not to undermine their sacredness but to underline their significance. Life is transient. The wisdom of scriptures is eternal."

I could not have said it better.
